Sugarcane Commissioner issues toll free number to register complaint of the farmers

Lucknow: Commissioner, Cane and Sugar, Shri Sanjay R. Bhoosreddy told that, now if the sugarcane farmers have any problems related to sugarcane then they may get solution of same by registering their complaint through their phone itself. For this, the department has started toll free number 1800-121-3203 for the farmers of the State. For the problems related to cane survey, satta, calendar, and parchi a toll free number 1800- 103-5823 has also been started by the ERP service provider company, on which the farmers by registering their complaints may get quick redressal of the same.

Giving detailed information in this regard Shri Bhoosreddy told that both the above numbers are working 24×7. If the farmer has any problem related to survey, satta, calendar or parchi etc, he should first register his problem on Amity’s toll free number 1800-103-5823. He can also register his complaint on departmental toll free number 1800-121-3203. After the call the call executive will note down the name, address, Farmer code, village code and the problem of the farmer. The complaint then will be transferred to the concerned district level officers. After this the concerned officer will approach the farmer and resolve their complaint. After the disposal of the complaint, the farmer will be informed through S.M.S. The officials of headquarter will also monitor the disposal of the Complaints on daily basis. He informed, that the farmer can register their complaint on grievance redressal column of web portal www.caneup.in or E-ganna App, the solution of the same will be ensured by the concerned officers within certain period of time.

He also informed that ‘Farm Machinery Banks’ have been established in 126 Cane Development Societies/Cooperative Sugar Mill Societies. In case any problems is faced by farmers in getting Agricultural implements from ‘Farm Machinery Banks’ or in rent of implements than the farmers may register their complaint on departmental toll free number 1800-121-3203 for quick solution of the same.

For getting the latest information about the modern techniques of sugarcane cultivation and prevention of pest and disease etc, sugarcane farmers can also get solution of their problems from agricultural Scientist by calling on Kisan Call Centre toll free number 1800-180-1551 of Government of India. It is worth mentioning that with the help of this toll free number, the farmer are directly connected with K.V.K. scientists and can get solution of their problems directly on phone.
