Ambajogai: The crushing capacity of Venkateshwara (Ambasakhar) sugar mill will be increased to 3500 MT per day, said social justice minister Dhananjay Munde, reports news agency UNI.
Speaking on the occasion of the conclusion of the ongoing crushing season, he said that the Venkateshwara services took bold decisions to run Ambasakhar factory that was closed down due to the old machinery and mounting debts. With the help of other sugar mills in the district including Parli, Ambajogai, and Cage the entire sugarcane was crushed for the ongoing crushing season.
“The Venkateswara has succeeded in crushing sugarcane in the 2021-22 season and cleared the cane dues of farmers till March 31,” he further added.
