Nakodar, Punjab: Sugarcane crushing began at the Nakodar Cooperative Sugar mill on Friday.
The inauguration of the crushing season was done by Shahkot AAP leader Rattan Singh Kakkar Kalan. For the ongoing crushing season, the mill is likely to receive 17 lakh quintals of cane. During last season crushing commenced on November 26.
