Amroha: The district administration has announced a date of June 20 for the completion of the sugarcane field survey for the upcoming 2023-24 season, reports Live Hindustan.
A total of 143 teams have been assigned to carry out this task, equipped with handheld GPS devices connected to computers. Once the survey of their fields is completed, farmers will be provided with a slip.
Workers associated with sugar mill who are familiar to the cane survey process will be deployed for this duty. The survey details will be uploaded to a administration website.
Farmers are kindly requested to accurately fill out the survey details, which will be thoroughly reviewed by the assigned teams. It is important to note that farmers who fail to provide the necessary information will not receive slips for the crushing of their cane.
