Tanzania: John Kijazi, Chief Secretary said that he is satisfied over the development of the sugarcane field project at Mbigiri in Morogoro Region. He stated that the construction of the sugar factory will be done as per the plan and the sugar production will be started soon.
According to the media report, Kijazi was speaking after visiting and inspecting the Mbigiri sugarcane farm project in the region that is jointly owned by the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) and the Prisons Service.
He promised that the government will ensure that the project is completed in time and the sugar production takes place as per the plan.
Congratulating the team on the progress of the work Kijazi said, “You have done good work. We assure you that soon the government will set up a sugar factory.”
