Uttarakhand: Uttam Sugar Mills Ltd has commenced the Distillery with 50 KLPD capacity at Libberheri unit. The company informed the same to the exchange.
Earlier, on 7th August, 2019, the company had notified the exchange regarding setting up of Distillery at Libberheri Unit.
In morning trade, Uttam Sugar Mills was trading at 272.60 Rs.
According to the government, it is likely that ethanol distillation capacities in the country would be more than doubled by 2025 and India would be able to achieve 20 per cent blending target.
Recently government had advanced the ethanol blending target from 2030 to 2025. The roadmap for ethanol blending in India 2020-25 was released by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on June 5 this year on the occasion of World Environment Day.
