Meerut (Uttar Pradesh): The Mohiuddinpur sugar mill achieved a remarkable feat this year by producing an additional 53,000 quintals of sugar. Consequently, the mill earned a profit of ₹21 crore. This success can be attributed to a 1.05% increase in sugar recovery compared to previous years, reported Live Hindustan.
Kumar Dharmendra, the Managing Director of the mill, shared this information. He highlighted the contributions of several members to this achievement: the hard work of farmers, their selection of better sugarcane varieties, and the dedication of the mill management and staff.
Dharmendra further stated that the mill crushed 50 lakh quintals of sugarcane during the crushing season 2023-24.
