Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh: If voted to power, Samajwadi Party will increase the sugarcane purchase price, assured the Pradesh president of the party, Naresh Uttam Patel.
Addressing a gathering on the occasion of Shahid Diwas, he said that the ruling government has failed to control inflation and price rise. If people vote SP to power in 2022, we will assure that we will increase the sugarcane purchase price to Rs 400 per quintal.
Recently, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had said that we will work to make sure timely payments are made as well as to increase the price of sugarcane. In the last few years, there has been no hike in the cane price in the state.
