Uttar Pradesh: Sugar bags stolen from parked truck

Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh: Unidentified men looted the sugar bags from a truck that was parked on the side of Highway at Gorakhpur’s Khajni on Thursday night. The incident has been registered with the police.

The incident came to light after the truck driver Ramnarayan Singh visited the truck on Friday morning and noticed sugar bags missing. He immediately alerted the sugar’s owner, Rohit Ramraika. He lodged the complaint with the local police.

According to a media report, Ramnarayan loaded the truck with sugar from Balrampur sugar mill and reached his home in Khajani. He parked the truck on the side of Highway and went home to take rest during the night. When he returned to the truck the next morning, he found sugar bags missing. Sugar has been ordered to send to Kolkata. Police are further investigating the case.
