Lockdown: Workers from three sugar mills allowed to go home

Lucknow: After the lockdown was announced, many migrant workers got stuck at their workplace. But understanding their plight, Central government and state governments are taking steps to ensure that workers safely reach their home.

According to the news report published in Amar Ujala, 57 workers employed at sugar mills in Balrampur district got an opportunity to return their home. These workers are from Balrampur mill, sugar company Tulsipur and Bajaj sugar Itai Maida mill. They were stuck in the mills due to lockdown. They had applied to the local administration to go their home in Rajasthan. Following the directives, a bus was arranged for them.

While taking them from their premises to the bus station a social distancing norm was followed.
