Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh: Sugarcane farmers are now using the internet as a medium to press for their demands. Cane growers across Uttar Pradesh under the leadership of Sardar VM Singh, President of Rashtriya Kisan Mazdoor Sanghtan, made many tweets targeting government and demanding pending cane arrears.
The farmers have urged the government that they should ask sugar mills to provide the arrears with interest.
