Domestic Market

Domestic sugar prices remained stable at two-month low

Domestic sugar prices have continued to fall due to weak demand, and they are now trading at a two-month low after remaining steady for the last two sessions. Prices are expected to remain low due to sluggish demand and high rainfall activity in Southern and Eastern India. The cyclonic activity has had some impact on trade activity.

M-grade sugar costs between Rs 3,950 and Rs 4,070 per quintal in Muzaffarnagar, and S-grade sugar costs between Rs 3,735 and Rs 3,790 per quintal in Kolhapur.
