Nagal, Saharanpur: Thakur Dharmendra Singh, the National President of Bhartiya Kisan Union Mahashakti, called on workers to actively raise farmers’ issues and demonstrate their strength to the administration during a program held at the district office in Basera, reported Live Hindustan.
Addressing the gathering, Singh urged workers not to ignore the problems faced by farmers. “Instead of overlooking farmers’ issues, fight for them and show the administration the strength of the organization,” he said.
District President Amar Tyagi also addressed the meeting, emphasizing unity. “Justice can only be delivered to the suffering if we stay united and put aside internal differences,” he said.
Tyagi issued a warning to the management of Bajaj sugar mill, demanding immediate payment of pending sugarcane dues. “If the mill fails to clear the outstanding payments soon, the union will stage a protest at the mill gate,” he warned.
