Former UP Minister meets CM Yogi Adityanath, highlights pending cane dues issue

Lucknow: Former Uttar Pradesh minister Chaudhary Yograj Singh met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow on Friday to discuss key development matters related to the Budhana Assembly constituency and Muzaffarnagar district, reported Royal Bulletin.

During the meeting, Singh raised concerns about the delayed sugarcane payments from the Bhainsana Sugar Mill. He urged the Chief Minister to ensure that farmers receive their pending dues as soon as possible.

He also pointed out problems related to irrigation, especially in areas that depend on seasonal canals and minors. Singh requested the government to ensure a steady water supply throughout the year for both kharif and rabi crops in regions connected to canals such as Kurthal, Nirpura, Tikri, Bhadal, Milana, Sujti, Doghat, Bhagwanpur, and Gaidbara.

Speaking after the meeting, Singh said the Chief Minister had taken note of all the issues. “The Chief Minister responded positively and assured that steps will be taken to resolve the problems soon,” he said.
