Baghpat MLA Yogesh Dhama announced during a press conference on Thursday that Uttar Pradesh’s Minister of sugar mill and sugarcane development, Laxmi Narayan Chaudhary, will visit Baghpat on July 12. The visit will include a key event focused on the expansion of the Baghpat sugar mill.
According to MLA Dhama, the expansion project is the result of his persistent efforts and the direct guidance of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. During his visit, Minister Laxmi Narayan is expected to officially announce the expansion plan for the sugar mill. The proposed developments include an increase in the mill’s cane crushing capacity.
“This project will be a boon for farmers and sugarcane producers in the region,” said Dhama, emphasizing the economic and agricultural benefits expected from the expansion.
The event will take place on the premises of the Baghpat sugar mill. During the program, the minister will outline the details of the expansion project and share the future roadmap for the mill’s development.
Currently, Baghpat Sugar Mill has crushing capacity of 2,500 TCD.
Also present at the press briefing were Sugarcane Committee Chairman Krishnapal, Gaurav Yadav, and Sudesh Chauhan, all of whom expressed optimism about the positive impact of the proposed upgrades on the local farming community.
