Daily Sugar Market Update By Vizzie – 12/07/2025

ChiniMandi, Mumbai: 12th July 2025

Domestic Market

Domestic sugar prices remained mostly stable.

Domestic sugar prices in key markets were reported to be consistent across the board. Prices were reported in the major markets of Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Uttar Pradesh. Rainfall activity resumed after a brief period over Southern states, which should keep demand low.

Heavy rains in Central and Western India have impacted trading activity. Demand is said to be quite low; despite the lower monthly quota, offtake is extremely slow, keeping prices under control.

M-grade sugar costs between Rs 3,860 and Rs 3,940 per quintal in Muzaffarnagar, while S-grade sugar costs between Rs 3,720 and Rs 3,750 in Kolhapur.
