Domestic Market
Domestic sugar prices continued to be weak

Domestic sugar prices continue to trade weak across major markets. Prices eased further by ₹10 per quintal across the major markets, as sluggish demand persisted at elevated price levels. As per sources, demand is said to be subdued which is weighing on the prices from the last 4-5 sessions. As prices have rallied more in Uttar Pradesh recently so prices are being weighed down more in Uttar Pradesh.

In Muzaffarnagar (Uttar Pradesh), M-grade sugar is quoted between ₹4,050 and ₹4,120 per quintal, while in Kolhapur (Maharashtra), S-grade sugar is trading in the range of ₹3,820–₹3,860 per quintal.
