Ayodhya: Rauzagaon sugar mill to start crushing season from November 10

Kotwadham, Ayodhya (UP): The Rauzagaon sugar mill in Ayodhya district will begin its crushing season on November 10 this year. The procurement of sugarcane from farmers will start two days earlier, on November 8, while weighment slips will be distributed from November 1. The mill is starting its operations about 15 days earlier than last year, and preparations are underway to ensure smooth functioning at all cane collection centers, reported Amar Ujala.

In the Sirouli Gauspur tehsil, sugarcane farmers are served by the Budhwal and Dariyabad cane societies. From November 8, cane procurement will begin at all designated centers under these committees.

Cane weighment centers will operate at Maraucha, Sanawa, Sheshpur Tutru, Gidarapur, Amra Katehra, Kotwa Dham, Khajuri, Sarai Dunauli, Hadaha, Barolia, and Badosaray. The weighment will be done using digital computer-based weighing machines, along with the option for manual weighing where required.

According to T.N. Tiwari, Cane Assistant Development Officer at the mill, sugarcane procurement will start on November 8, ahead of the mill’s operational launch on November 10.
