Karnal: A meeting was held between the Picadilly Sugar Mill administration and the Ganna Sangharsh Samiti, chaired by its president, Rampal Chahal. The meeting, which was also attended by the mill’s Unit Head Santokh Singh and Cane General Manager Karm Singh, included an inspection of the mill yard.
It was decided that the mill’s new crushing season will commence on November 23. The issuance of sugarcane supply slips to farmers will begin on November 18.
The mill administration announced that this year, a new mobile application will be launched for obtaining supply slips and trolley tokens. This initiative will allow farmers to book their trolley tokens from home and also check the real-time status of the mill yard through the app.
Furthermore, canteen facilities will be made available for farmers at two locations on the mill premises.
Several sugarcane producers, including Rohitash, Tejpal Badshalu, Rishipal Badshalu, Jaygopal, Mahindra Singh, and Gurnam Malik attended the meeting.
