Equity benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty 50 ended lower on November 18.
Sensex ended 277.93 points lower at 84,673.02, whereas Nifty concluded 103.40 points down at 25,910.05.
Indian rupee ended flat at 88.61 per dollar on Tuesday versus previous close of 88.63.
Bharti Airtel, Axis Bank, Power Grid Corporation, Bajaj Auto, Asian Paints were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Tech Mahindra, Tata Consumer, Jio Financial, Interglobe Aviation, Bajaj Finserv.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 388.17 points higher at 84,950.95, whereas Nifty concluded 103.40 points up at 26,013.45.
