Equity benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty 50 ended lower on November 21.
Sensex ended 400.76 points lower at 85,231.92, whereas Nifty concluded 124.00 points down at 26,068.15.
Indian rupee has ended at fresh record low 89.40 per dollar on Friday against Thursday’s close of 88.70.
Maruti Suzuki, M&M, Interglobe Aviation, Tata Motors PV, Max Healthcare were among major losers on the Nifty, while gainers included JSW Steel, Hindalco, Tata Steel, Bajaj Finance and HCL Technologies.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 446.21 points higher at 85,632.68, whereas Nifty concluded 139.50 points up at 26,192.15.
