Daily Sugar Market Update By Vizzie – 28/11/2025

ChiniMandi, Mumbai: 28th Nov 2025

Domestic Market
Domestic sugar prices were reported weak

After trading stable for two consecutive sessions, domestic sugar prices across major markets reported weak. Prices in Maharashtra, North Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh were reported lower by Rs 10 per quintal. The start of crushing activity coupled with subdued buying activity is weighed on sugar prices.

The food ministry released a monthly quota for the month of December. As per the update quota was reported at 22.0 lakh tons, higher by 2.0 lakh tons compared to previous month. Higher monthly quota given the no festive demand is likely to weigh on the prices.

In key physical markets, M-grade sugar in Muzaffarnagar (Uttar Pradesh) was quoted between ₹4,040 and ₹4,110 per quintal. In Kolhapur (Maharashtra), S-grade sugar traded in the range of ₹3,700–₹3,740 per quintal, indicating a stable to slightly weak pricing trend.
