Domestic sugar prices were reported stable
Domestic sugar prices across major markets reported to be stable for the second session. The start of crushing activity coupled with subdued buying activity is weighed on sugar prices and are likely to remain under pressure in the upcoming sessions.
In key physical markets, M-grade sugar in Muzaffarnagar (Uttar Pradesh) was quoted between ₹4,040 and ₹4,110 per quintal. In Kolhapur (Maharashtra), S-grade sugar traded in the range of ₹3,700–₹3,740 per quintal, indicating a stable to slightly weak pricing trend.
