Indian equity indices ended marginally lower in a volatile trade on December 3 ahead of the RBI’s Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) announcement..
Sensex ended 31.46 points lower at 85,106.81, whereas Nifty concluded 46.20 points down at 25,986.00.
Indian rupee ended 32 paise lower at 90.19 per dollar on Wednesday against Tuesday close of 89.87.
Max Healthcare, Shriram Finance, Bharat Electronics, Interglobe Aviation, Tata Consumer were among major losers on the Nifty, while gainers were Wipro, Hindalco Industries, TCS, Axis Bank and ICICI Bank.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 503.62 points lower at 85,138.27, whereas Nifty concluded 143.55 points down at 26,032.20.
