Domestic sugar prices were mostly stable
Domestic sugar prices across major markets were reported to be stable. As crushing is progressing well buyers are not aggressively buying as supply will remain ample moving forward. Moreover, new sugar is being offered from the last 5-7 days which is also likely to keep end users from need based buying.
In the key physical markets, M-grade sugar in Muzaffarnagar (Uttar Pradesh) was quoted between тВ╣4,040 and тВ╣4,120 per quintal. In Kolhapur (Maharashtra), S-grade sugar traded in the range of тВ╣3,700тАУтВ╣3,750 per quintal, reflecting a steady to slightly softer tone.
