Daily Sugar Market Update By Vizzie – 22/12/2025

ChiniMandi, Mumbai: 22nd Dec 2025

Domestic Market
Domestic sugar prices traded weak

Domestic sugar prices were reported largely weak in today’s session, pressured by ample availability as the crushing season continues to progress steadily. In addition, the disparity in export realizations and relatively higher domestic price levels are expected to weigh further on market sentiment.

Spot prices in major physical markets reflected this subdued tone. In Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, M-grade sugar was quoted in the range of ₹3,920–₹3,990 per quintal. Meanwhile, in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, S-grade sugar traded slightly lower at ₹3,610–₹3,660 per quintal, extending the gradual decline witnessed over recent sessions.
