Indian equity indices ended on strong note with Nifty near 25,300 on January 22.
Sensex ended 397.73 points higher at 82,307.37, whereas Nifty concluded 132.40 points up at 25,289.90.
Dr Reddy’s Labs, Bharat Electronics, Adani Ports, Adani Enterprises, Tata Steel were among top gainers on the Nifty, while losers wee SBI Life Insurance, Eternal, Eicher Motors, Titan Company, Max Healthcare.
Indian rupee ended higher at 91.62 per dollar on Thursday against previous close of 91.70.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 270.84 points lower at 81,909.63, whereas Nifty concluded 75.00 points down at 25,157.50.
