Domestic Market
Domestic sugar prices were stable to higher

Domestic sugar prices continued to trade higher in the major markets of Uttar Pradesh while reported steady in the major markets of Maharashtra and Karnataka, supported by expectations of an increase in the Minimum Selling Price (MSP). Market sources indicate that the Indian government is likely to raise the MSP of sugar from the current ₹31 per kg to around ₹37–38 per kg which is supporting the prices in the major markets.

In Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, M-grade sugar was quoted in the range of ₹3,980–₹4,100 per quintal, marking an increase of ₹20–30 per quintal from the previous session. Meanwhile, in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, S-grade sugar traded at ₹3,600–₹3,660 per quintal, stable compared to last session.
