MVK Agro Food Product Limited has received central government approval for the expansion of its sugarcane crushing capacity, the company informed the National Stock Exchange (NSE).
In a regulatory filing, the company said it has received the Industrial Enterprises Memorandum (IEM) from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, approving the proposed capacity enhancement.
As per the approval, M.V.K. Agro Food Product Limited will increase its sugarcane crushing capacity from 2,500 tonnes of cane per day (TCD) to 4,000 TCD. In addition, the company’s molasses capacity will be expanded from 16,800 MT to 26,880 MT per annum
The company had earlier intimated the exchange on June 23, 2025, about its application to the government seeking approval for the enhancement of sugarcane crushing capacity.
MVK Agro Food Product is an integrated sugar and other allied products manufacturing company operating from Nanded District in Maharashtra.
