Indian equity indices continued rally on second day with Nifty closing 2.55% up at 25,727.55 on February 3.
Sensex rose 2072.67 points to close at 83,739.13, whereas Nifty concluded 639.15 points up to 25,727.55.
Biggest Nifty gainers were Adani Ent, Adani Ports, Jio Fin, Bajaj Finance and Indigo, while losers were Tech Mahendra, BEL, SBI Life and Nestle India.
Indian rupee ended 1.36% higher at 90.26 per dollar on Tuesday versus previous close of 91.51.
On Monday, Sensex closed at 81,666.46, whereas Nifty concluded at 25,088.40.
