Sensex up 50 points; Nifty closes below 25,500

Indian benchmark indices closed flat on February 25, with the Sensex gaining 50.15 points and the Nifty rising 57.85 points.

The BSE Sensex closed at 82,276.07, while the Nifty 50 ended at 25,482.50.

Among the top Nifty losers were SBI, ITC, Bharti Airtel, Adani Ports, and Reliance Industries. Gainers included Tata Steel, HCL Technologies, Bajaj Auto, Shriram Finance, and TCS.

The Indian rupee ended flat at 90.95 per dollar on Tuesday, unchanged from the previous close of 90.95.

In the previous trading session, the Sensex had settled at 82,225.92, while the Nifty closed at 25,424.65.
