Markets Rally for Second Consecutive Day: Sensex Jumps 567 Points, Nifty Crosses 23,550

MUMBAI : Indian equity markets continued their upward momentum on Tuesday, marking the second straight day of gains driven by value buying. The Sensex closed 567.99 points higher at 76,070.84, up 0.75%, while the Nifty 50 ended at 23,581.15, gaining 172.35 points or 0.74%.

Buying activity was broad-based, with strong demand seen in auto, metal, and realty stocks. Asian markets also traded higher. TokyoтАЩs Nikkei 225 rose 0.4% to 53,928.25, while South KoreaтАЩs Kospi surged 2.4% to 5,683.61.IndiaтАЩs VIX, a key measure of market volatility, fell 6% to 20.32, suggesting reduced uncertainty among investors.
