Nichlaul (Maharajganj), Uttar Pradesh: Sugarcane farmers under the leadership of AAP leader Jahid Ali participated in a protest at the tehsil office in Nichlaul demanding the pending cane dues from the Gadaura sugar mill, reports Live Hindustan.
A memorandum in this regard was handed over to the concerned officials demanding immediate action.
He also demanded the setting up of weighing machines in several parts of the region as the farmers are not able to weigh their cane before sending it to mills for crushing.
