Andhra Pradesh CM lays foundation stone of two bio-ethanol energy plants

Construction of two new bio-ethanol energy plants began in Andhra Pradesh after Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy laid the foundation stone for the same virtually on Thursday, reports The Hans India.

“These plants will help in providing direct and indirect job opportunities to people in the state,” said CM after the inauguration.

“In Nellore, an ethanol manufacturing plant will be set up by KRIBHCO with an investment of Rs 610 crore and the construction of the company will be completed within 12 months. This plant would provide job opportunities to 1000 people,” he said.

Minister Kanaki Govardhan Reddy said that there was a need of setting up these plants in the state.
