BKU Tikait to launch an agitation for various demands including pending sugarcane dues

Kanth: In a meeting held at the residence of BKU Tikait’s block president, Devendra Singh farmers have decided to launch an agitation on August 3 for their various demands if they are not met, reports Amar Ujala.

Their demands included ensuring prompt payment for pending sugarcane dues, making fertilizers available to all committees, addressing the issue of free-roaming animals, monkeys, and wild boars, and not subjecting farmers to harassment over allegations of electricity theft.

Present during the meeting were Bhakiyu’s Pradesh Upadhyaksha (Deputy President) of Western Youth Wing, Rishipal Singh, Block President Devendra Singh, Sushil Kumar, Rahul Chaudhary, Kuldeep, Anoj Singh, Veerendra Singh, Tehsil Adhyaksha (Tehsil President) Siyaram Vishnoi, Raju, Jitendra Singh, Arjun, Sanjeev Kumar, Mahakar Singh, and others.
