ChiniMandi, Mumbai – Friday 26th April 2019

• Domestic: The market was stable nationwide. In Maharashtra, Mills are opening their rates at Rs.3100 to Rs.3130/Qntl, whereas in Resell, the rates are Rs.3025 to 3050. In Uttar Pradesh, Mill sales are taking place at Rs.3180 to 3230. In resale, the market rates are Rs.3170 to 3210. In Gujarat, S/30 is trading at Rs.3120 to 3150. In Tamil Nadu, Mill trades are taking place at Rs.3340 to Rs.3400 excluding GST.

• International: The market took an uptrend. London White Sugar is trading at $340.50 whereas US Sugar is trading at $12.42.

The FOB indication for raw sugar was at $310-$313 and Indian White Sugar at $320-$323.

The demand of Raw Sugar range was ₹19500-19700/mt and White Sugar ₹20000-₹20300/MT on Ex.factory basis.

• Currency & Commodity: The rupee was trading against the US dollar at 70.29 meanwhile USD traded with BRL at 3.950, Crude Futures traded at ₹4497, WTI $64.02

• Indices: The BSE Sensex rallied 336 points to reclaim the 39,000 mark Friday, propelled by gains in banking, oil and gas, metal and IT stocks amid easing global crude oil prices. After hitting an intra-day high of 39,103.16, the Sensex settled 336.47 points, or 0.87 per cent, higher at 39,067.33. The NSE Nifty too ended 112.85 points, or 0.97 per cent, up at 11,754.65 after scaling a high of 11,762.90 during the day.
