Najibabad, Uttar Pradesh: Sugarcane farmers under the banner of BKU have demanded all the sugar mills in the district to commence till October 15, reports Amar Ujala.
The demand surfaced during the monthly meeting of BKU at Dwakra hall which was presided over by Tehsil president Dinesh Kumar.
Addressing the gathering, Dinesh Kumar said that the sugarcane farmers are facing several problems including pending cane dues. The administration should take steps to ensure all sugar mills in the district operate till October 15 for cane farmers convenience else they will be forced to launch an agitation.
