Following the relocation of municipal commissioners, the state government, on Tuesday, directed the transfer of additional municipal commissioners Dr. Kunal Khemnar and Vikas Dhakane. Dr. Khemnar has been appointed as the Sugar Commissioner.
In accordance with the Election Commission’s directives, the state government issued transfer orders for officials occupying significant positions on Tuesday. Dr. Kunal Khemnar, who had assumed the role of Additional Commissioner of Pune Municipal Corporation on August 21, 2020, has completed his tenure. His tenure saw significant contributions to the implementation of various municipal projects.
Earlier, on February 5, 2024, Anil M. Kawade (2003 batch IAS Officer) was appointed as Sugar Commissioner.
