E-ganna app for sugarcane farmers

Meerut: Now the sugarcane farmers in Uttar Pradesh will be able to get all the details related to their crop, cutting, crushing and relevant activities on mobile app E ganna.

Earlier the mills used to handover a calendar to the farmers regarding the projected events related to cane crushing. The farmers used to face difficulty in case they misplace the calendar, but after the launch of an app, it will be convenient for cane growers to gather information.

Now the department will feed the calendar in the E-ganna app in which farmers can get details about the cane crushing. But, no information regarding the payment will be given to the farmers. The app will also provide data about cane crushing during the last few seasons. The cane farmers can download the app from play store and install on their mobiles to get the details.
