Fiji Sugar Corporation begins loading sugar for export to US and Spain

The Fiji Sugar Corporation (FSC) has begun loading more than 40,000 tonnes of sugar which will be exported to the US and Spain.

According to the FSC, the vessel arrived at Labasa on Tuesday and has initiated the process of loading sugar. In the second phase, another vessel will arrive at Malau and Lautoka terminals.

The three sugar mills from Fiji have crushed a total 637,504 tonnes of cane till August 17. In this season, sugar production increased in the country.
