New Delhi: The Economic Survey released on July 4 projected real gross domestic product (GDP) at 7 per cent for 2019-20. It was tabled in Parliament by finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman.

The survey noted that GDP growth India has been seen picking up on higher private investment and robust consumption.

The govt has been on a path of fiscal consolidation and discipline. At the same time, oil prices are expected to decline in 2019-20.

According to the reports, Economic Survey 2019 says lower global growth and increased uncertainty over trade tension may hit exports.
