India’s sugar consignment to Afghanistan arrives at Chabahar Port

Vessels carrying sugar from India for Afghanistan arrived at Chabahar Port in Iran.

According to Behrouz Aqaei, the director-general of Ports and Maritime Department of Sistan-Baluchestan Province, “The vessel carrying 1,890 tons of Indian private sector’s sugar in 70 containers docked at Shahid Beheshti port in Chabahar.”

India has also sent several consignments of wheat to Afghanistan through Chabahar in the past months.
