Roorkee: Iqbalpur sugar mill will be closing crushing operations for the ongoing season due to the shortage of sugarcane. The mill has been struggling with sugarcane supply shortage for several days.
The mill had to stop operations on Wednesday due to a shortage of cane.
Sugarcane manager Ompal Singh Tomar says that the sugarcane supply in the sugar mill has come down drastically. He told that if the same situation prevails, the mill will be closed in a day or two.
