Iran: Sugar mill workers demand government resignation

The sugarcane workers from Iran that are agitating from the last 45 days have demanded the resignation of the government. The workers are agitating for their unpaid wages and against the privatization of the sugar mill.

Hundreds of workers came on roads wearing masks and raising slogans against the government demanding the resignation. Workers are awaiting their salaries from the last three months.

The agitating workers also want the government to reinstate the trade unions that were sacked by the earlier government along with taking the mills under the public sector.
