Jharkhand: Govt signs MoU to set up 5 ethanol plants

Ranchi: The Jharkhand government led by Chief Minister Champai Soren formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Thursday with Inland Green Energy to establish ethanol plants at five locations throughout the state, with the phased implementation commencing in September of this year.

According to Navin Somani, the Managing Director of the company, the initiative is expected to generate direct employment for over 5,000 individuals within the ethanol plants.
