Rohta: Bajaj Sugar Mill, Kinauni closed its 17th cane crushing operations on Wednesday night. According to the mill administration, the mill has set a new record by crushing additional cane apart targeted cane allotment.
According to the news report published in Livehindustan.com, the mill began cane crushing operations on November 1 and continued crushing for 192 days. The mill has produced 21.63 lakh quintal sugar by crushing 1.85 crore quintal sugarcane with a recovery of 11.79 per cent. The mill ranks seventh in the terms of sugarcane recovery in Uttar Pradesh.
The mill administration closed the crushing operations after ensuring that all the cane grown in the region is crushed completely. The mill has sent the cane bills of the cane crushed up to November 30 to the sugarcane committees.
