Kumari Selja raises Naraingarh Sugar Mill issue

Chandigarh: State government is hatching a conspiracy to shut down the Naraingarh Sugar Mill, said Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee (HPCC) President Kumari Selja.

According to the news report published in uniindia.com, she issued a statement stating that the government is in no mood to run the sugar mill and its closure will affect 7000 sugarcane farmers and 500 mill workers. workers are on strike as they have not received salaries for several months.

“The mill owes cane dues worth Rs 70 crore and in such a situation the government is discussing closing the sugar mill,” she further added
