Maharashtra’s Mills Being Interrogated Under Fake FRP Report Allegations

Last week, Mr. Raju Shetti, Chairman – Swabhimani Shetkari Sanghatana, had conducted a meeting with Mr. Sambhaji Kadupatil. According to Mr. Shetti, during his visit at Usmanabad area, many farmers came up with allegations saying they haven’t received any FRP amount from last year’s sugar season. Thus, Mr. Shetti has urged the commissioner to take a necessary action against these mills. He has also requested the commissioner to ask millers to submit affidavit towards the complete payments of FRPs.

The sugar commissioner has issued an order to the offices of Nanded, Aurangabad, Ahmednagar, Nagpur, Pune, Kolhapur and Amravati in the state to inquire these mills with fake documents and to take strict action if found guilty
