Mumbai: Domestic bourses opened on a positive note on Wednesday with benchmark indices Sensex trading 66.97 points higher at 35,701.92 and Nifty up by 3.85 points at 10,455.30.
At 10:13 AM, BSE was trading at 35,578.05. Similarly, Nifty was trading at 10,419.65.
Reliance Industries, Bharti Airtel, Hero MotoCorp, ICICI Bank and PowerGrid were the top gainers, while ITC, Tata Steel, Tech Mahindra, Infosys and UltraTech Cement were among the top losers
On the currency front, the rupee appreciated 23 paise to 73.93 against the US dollar in morning session.
