Market starts on a volatile note

Mumbai: Today market started on a volatile note amid foreign fund outflow and weak global cues.

BSE Sensex today on 4th September 2019 was trading 11.13 points lower at 36,551.78 at 9:30 am. On the other hand, the NSE Nifty too fall 4.50 points at 10,793.40 in morning trade. Similarly, at 10 am, Sensex was trading at 36586.34 points, on the other hand, Nifty at 10800.45 points.

ITC, Bharti Airtel, SBI, PowerGrid, Hero MotoCorp, Vedanta and L&T were among the top gainers rising up to 1.23 per cent.

Sun Pharma, IndusInd Bank, Asian Paints, RIL, Maruti and Tata Motors were among the top losers falling up to 4 per cent.

On the currency front, the Indian rupee recovered 11 paise against its previous close to trade at 72.28 in early session.

The global oil benchmark Brent crude was trading 0.17 per cent flat at 58.36 per barrel.
